Housing
Subsidized housing for all Ph.D. students is guaranteed. Accommodations include studios with kitchenettes, double and
triple suites with shared kitchens and one-bedroom apartments. M.D.-Ph.D. students spend their first five years in Cornell
University housing, then live in Rockefeller housing for the duration of the program. Like the laboratories, all on-campus
student rooms have high-speed internet access. Current rents range from $555 to $805 a month.
The university also owns two vacation cottages near the Bear Mountain Recreational Area, one hour north of the city in the Hudson Valley. The cottages are available for use by Rockefeller faculty, students and employees.
