NMR Instruments
The SRC maintains and operates the following NMR instruments at its facilities:
Bruker Avance DPX400 (Smith Hall S509)
- 2-channel, Z-gradient, 5-mm double resonance reverse probe
- Usage:
- routine 1H and heternuclear (13C, 15N, 31P)
- 2D experiments (COSY, NOESY, HMQC, HSQC, HMBC)
- water suppression
- gradient enhanced NMR
- TopSpin 1.3 Software
Bruker Avance 600 (RRB 341)
- 4-channel, Z-gradient, 5-mm TXI triple resonance cryoprobe
- UltraShield Plus magnet
- Usage:
- 3D biomolecular NMR
- 3D and 4D heternuclear experiments
- 2H decoupling
- TopSpin 1.3 Software

To request NYSBC NMR instrument time, please contact the Spectroscopy Resource Center manager at least two months in advance and state which instrument you plan to use (500, 600, 700, 800, 800 with microprobe, or 900 MHz NMR).
