Transfer Credit Policy
Graduate coursework completed at another academic institution prior to a student’s enrollment at Rockefeller University is evaluated for transfer credit on a case by case basis. Requests for transfer of credit are reviewed by the Dean of Graduate Studies in consultation with the Registrar, and include consideration of the educational quality of the institution from which the student transfers, the content and level of the credit earned, and the applicability of the credit earned to the Rockefeller program the student is enrolling in. At no time will graduate transfer credit be awarded for courses taken elsewhere at the undergraduate level.
