Antibody Discovery

The facility works with researchers to generate custom MAbs by offering:

  • Comprehensive project design and management (free).
  • Immunization of mice, rats or hamsters with peptides, protein, cells and DNA.
  • Creating hybridomas / stable MAb secreting cell lines via electrofusion, generating 10’s of thousands hybridomas for screening.
  • Maintenance of the newly immortalized hybridomas during the screening process.
  • Screening new hybridoma cultures / MAbs, specifically using ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and western blot.
  • Cryopreservation and repository for positive hybridoma cultures.
  • Subcloning hybridoma populations that recognize the antigen of interest to create stable hybridoma stocks.
  • Oversight of the validation process for free.
