Ford Center for Life Science Innovation
Situated in the center of one of the most concentrated hubs for biomedical innovation in the world, the new Ford Center for Life Science Innovation serves as home to the Sanders Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute and the newly established Ford Biotechnology Incubator.
Comprising three floors of newly renovated Class-A laboratory space on the Rockefeller campus, the Center will contain a community of translational researchers and high-performing start-ups that will define the interface between high-impact biomedical research and early-stage commercialization along the Upper East Side biomedical corridor of New York.
Funded by generous donations from Rockefeller trustees Bill Ford, Lew Sanders, and Russ Carson, this crucial venture will foster synergy between innovative research, translational science, and entrepreneurship.
The Ford Biotechnology Incubator will provide space for 10-15 early-stage life science companies, selected for residency on a competitive basis. Life science companies originating from outside of Rockefeller University are welcome and encouraged to apply. Applications for early 2024 review and admission are currently being accepted. Please visit fci.rockefeller.edu to learn more and apply.
