Team Science Initiative
The Rockefeller University Center for Clinical and Translational Team Science Initiative was created to insure that the translational science workforce has the skills and knowledge necessary to advance translation of discoveries, in particular skills and knowledge required to be outstanding team science leaders. As part of the initiative, the Senior Staff of the Rockefeller CTSA and the members of the KL2 Clinical Scholars program jointly developed two documents. The Rockefeller University Clinical Scholars Team Science Leadership Self-Assessment Survey is designed for self-evaluation by Clinical Scholars and, if desired, for discussion with mentors. The Rockefeller University Team Science Leadership Competencies Survey contains a list of clinical research team science competencies that can be used to guide educational programs and as a framework for judging the performance of trainees as part of an outcome-based team leadership improvement process. We are pleased to make both documents available to the translational science community.
