Speaker bio(s)

Miguel Constancia completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge/King’s College in 2000. After a short post-doctoral position, he joined the Faculty of The Babraham Institute, Cambridge, as a career progression fellow and later as a group leader. In 2007 he was appointed to a Lecturer position at the School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge. He is currently a Professor of Developmental Epigenetics and an MRC (Medical Research Council) investigator. His research interests are focused on Epigenetic mechanisms of gene regulation, with a focus on Genomic Imprinting and developmental programming of health and disease.
