Dr. Kate Clancy is an American biological anthropologist who specializes in reproductive health. Clancy currently leads the Clancy Lab group within the Laboratory for Evolutionary Endocrinology at the University of Illinois. Her research and policy advocacy work focuses on sexual harassment in science and academia. Her work has had broad implications for the public and for science. She has provided Congressional testimony, co-authored a National Academies report on sexual harassment of women in STEM, and just published her new book, Period, which focuses on misunderstandings of the menstrual cycle.
