Laboratory of Comparative Pathology
The Laboratory of Comparative Pathology (LCP) is a multi-disciplinary laboratory offering clinical and anatomic pathology analysis of animals1 used in research. The laboratory is staffed by board certified veterinary pathologists and medical technologists experienced in the evaluation of spontaneous and experimentally induced animal diseases.
The LCP provides direct support to investigative staff utilizing a variety of animal models as well as the clinical and biosecurity activities of the animal care and use programs at Memorial Sloan Kettering, Weill Cornell Medicine, Hospital for Special Surgery, and The Rockefeller University. Research pathology support includes phenotypic characterization of novel genetically engineered animals and pre-clinical safety assessment.
