Minority and small business sources of supplies and services

The Purchasing Department, on behalf of the University, continues to pursue and conduct business with small local businesses, small business suppliers, and minority-owned, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses. The University makes positive efforts to utilize small businesses, minority-owned firms, veteran-owned,and women’s business enterprises, whenever possible. The pursuit of such business is also a requirement of the National Institute of Health (NIH). Conduct of business with these categories of vendors/contractors is subject to all University purchasing policies.
