Artist Highlights
  • Zlatomir Fung was born into a family of mathematicians and began playing cello at age three.
  • The name “Isidore,” of the Isidore String Quartet, was chosen to recognize one of the early members of the heavily influential Julliard Quartet: legendary violinist Isidore Cohen.
  • SPA Trio are best known for their unique repertoire with a blend of art and parlor songs from all over 19th- and 20th-century Europe.
  • The Goldmund Quartet are winners of the renowned 2018 International Wigmore Hall String Competition and the 2018 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition.
  • Having begun playing the piano at age four, Lise de la Salle gave her first concert five years later at the age of nine in a live broadcast on Radio France.
  • The Junction Trio made their Carnegie Hall debut in the 2023-2024 season with the New York debut of John Zorn’s Philosophical Investigations.
  • Deeply connected to the local community, The Harlem Chamber Players have partnered with numerous organizations including the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Harlem Opera Theater, the Harlem School of the Arts, the Opus 118 Harlem School of Music, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, and many more.
