The Bio-Imaging Resource Center invites you to the following Workshop:

Dr.Pablo Ariel

Dr.Pablo Ariel

This type of analysis is fraught with many problems, both conceptual and practical, so that people are constantly asking us for advice on how to do it properly.
To address this need, we are bringing in an expert on the matter, Dr. Pablo Ariel, Director of the Microscopy Services Laboratory at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine (and formerly a hugely popular member of staff here at the BIRC).

Workshop Details:
Date:
Wednesday, April 16th
Time: 9:30 AM to approximately 1:00 PM
Location: Weiss 305

There will first be a lecture for approx. 1.5 hrs, followed by a short break and then the exercise portion of the workshop.  You will be expected to bring your own laptop, pre-loaded with the relevant FIJI plugins and exercises that will be sent to you after registration. A basic understanding of FIJI is required for participation.

Registration and Fees: The workshop fee is $30 per attendee, covering refreshments including coffee, cookies, and pizza. Payment can be made using your BIRC PPMS account, or we can assist in setting one up for you. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
