- How old does my child have to be to attend?
Children must be in grades K–8 during the 2019–20 academic year to attend. - Can I bring a child who is younger than kindergarten age, even if he or she will not participate in the activities?
In order to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone at Science Saturday, we require all attendees to be in kindergarten or older. The activities are specifically designed for students in grades K–8, and many of them require parental participation. We appreciate your cooperation in observing the age requirement. - Are adult chaperones required?
Yes, all children must be accompanied by an adult ticket-holder, and we require at least one adult per five children. - How can I buy tickets?
Adult and student tickets are $25 each. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00 AM. Tickets are sold on the Science Saturday website only and are required for all attendees. Be advised, tickets sell out quickly. All ticket sales are non-refundable. - Are there physical tickets?
No, there are no physical tickets, attendee names will be held at the door. - Can I purchase tickets without knowing the names of all attendees?
Yes, you may purchase tickets for unnamed guests. If you do not provide the names and grades of all your guests at the time of registration, please email sciencesaturday@rockefeller.edu with this information no later than May 5. - I purchased a ticket, but can no longer attend Science Saturday. Can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to someone else. If you are no longer able to attend or would like to transfer your ticket to a friend, please email sciencesaturday@rockefeller.edu. - I purchased an adult ticket, can I change my ticket to a student ticket or vice versa?
Yes, as long as there is still one adult attendee per five children. Please email sciencesaturday@rockefeller.edu with any requested ticket changes. - How do I get to Rockefeller University?

No, parking is not available on campus. - Do I need to pack a lunch?
No, lunch will be provided free of charge. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. The CRC Café will be open for additional snack and beverage purchases. - What if it rains?
This event will take place rain or shine. Most of the activities will be indoors. - I am a teacher. Can I bring a group of students to Science Saturday?
Absolutely! We welcome groups of students, but there must be one adult chaperone for every five students who attend. Please email sciencesaturday@rockefeller.edu for more information. - Does Rockefeller offer any other events for students during the year?
The university’s RockEDU Science Outreach Program presents two annual premier events for students: Science Saturday (grades K–8) in May and Talking Science (grades 9–12) in January.
